last weekend we visited a local pumpkin patch and while the games and activities were super fun, the pumpkin patch itself was a slight disappointment. in jaden’s words: “this is the world’s smallest pumpkin patch ever!” in his defense, he’s used to seeing fields upon fields of pumpkins and the one we went to this year had about 50 small pumpkins lined up on a dirt road. luckily, the pony rides, petting zoo, and games more than made up for it and it ended up being a fun filled family outing.
the weather here has been slowly cooling down and though it doesn’t quite feel like fall, i’ll take this crisp air over steaming humidity any day. happy fall, friends!
